OUR PROGRAMS
Restoring hope to thousands of stranded refugees.
We are creating an impact and restoring hope to many refugees through the following humanitarian and empowerment programs.
First aid and basic trauma care

Access to basic first aid and trauma care is not available to these refugees. Haven visited the different camps in Cross River State in Nigeria, we saw that there is a high need to make sure that these displace persons at least have access to basic medications like Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Pepto Bismuth, anti-diarrhea and wound care supplies like iodine, normal saline, cotton, topical antibiotic ointments which can help stabilize a situation before transportation to the hospital for further assessment and care.
Support long term medical treatment

Hearing the stories of hundreds of these displaced persons, one theme resonated over and over – lack of money for chronic care management. Most of these individuals are suffering from conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia and they have to make a choice between getting food and buying medication. So staying on top of their medication regimen and routine check-ups is not feasible for them. CRRI provide a continuous supply of these medications to these persons, so there is no lapse in treatment.
Nutrition

With hunger and illhealth being the daily struggle of refugees, CRRI has engaged in regularly providing access to clean water and food supplies. We equally partner with other organizations to organize and run large food drives.
Leadership and entrepreneurship training

CRRI Inc is embarking on career-based/vocational training programs such as tailoring, hairdressing, basic computer training/office assistant, carpentry, auto mechanic, welding, etc. Vocational education and training aid in the integration of refugees into the workforce and provides pathways to successful careers.
Support for Educational needs

Since 2016 when the crisis broke, schools in the Anglophone Regions have basically been shut down with some of them burnt to the ground. This has made it impossible for children of school going ages to continue with their education. CRRI is providing educational supplies, accomodation, sponsorship and other educational needs to refugees.
Rehabilitation and Settlement

CRRI has identified ways by which it can immediately assist these refugees to help them settle as best as they can at the moment.
